Blog software company Six Apart has a number of different products and services. In 2003, the company launched TypePad as a hosted-blogging platform for users and companies that wanted an easy way to blog or add blogging components to their existing sites. TypePad has evolved a lot over the years and over the last year especially has undergone lots of changes, with the focus being on integrating TypePad with other social networking features and services.

From UberTwitter to TwitterBerry to SocialScope and Tweetcaster , we’ve covered numerous Twitter apps on the Blackberry. But according to BlackBerry blog CrackBerry , there could soon be an official Twitter app released by RIM.

Social networking usage by Americans continues to soar. According to a new report from The Nielsen Company , Americans spent 17% of all their Internet time using social networking sites.

Yesterday’s change in Twitter’s Terms of service, in which they explicitly state that every user owns their own tweets is cool, but what does it really mean for the user? The exact wording that Twitter used in its TOS is: Twitter is allowed to “use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display and distribute” your tweets because that’s what we do. However, they are your tweets and they belong to you
