A few weeks ago, we learned that Facebook was going to get voice chat . The new feature wasn’t going to be powered by Facebook itself though, but rather through Vivox , a well-known voice chat provider for video games and the Second Life virtual world. Today, Vivox Voice Facebook app has launched in beta

While it might not always be a good idea to connect with your boss on social networks , one advantage of following them on Twitter: it could clue you in to when they’re out of the office. Thus, it’s not too surprising that Scott Adams’ perennial slacker Dilbert conspires with a co-worker to get their boss on Twitter in Sunday’s comic strip.

In one of the better announcement posts we’ve seen, the Dropbox Blog let us know that the Dropbox iPhone app is now out and ready for free download (warning: iTunes link). We wrote about Dropbox in our 10 free social apps for the Mac feature recently (it’s also available for Windows and Linux), and we’re fans of the service for its easy and convenient cross-platform cloud storage and sharing capabilities.
