Digg To Launch iPhone App [Video]

Digg is set to debut a new iPhone app, according to an interview with the news site’s founder, Kevin Rose. The revelation was somewhat unintentional: video podcasters Arnt Eriksen and Thomas Moen were interviewing Rose during the FOWA conference in London and spotted him playing with the new app. When the pair inquired about the application, Rose replied: “You’re not even supposed to know about that…nobody knows about that”.

Microsoft’s local information web site Sidewalk.com was a bust in 1997, but now sites like Yelp and Google Maps offer local information that many people couldn’t fathom living without.

The only existing film footage of Anne Frank has been uploaded to YouTube by the Anne Frank House . The Amsterdam museum is hoping to bring attention to Anne’s story and diaries and reach a new generation who may be unfamiliar with her story.

Twitter Co-Founder: We Started It for the Giggles [Video]

Based on tweets earlier in the week, we already knew that Biz Stone , Twitter’s co-founder, would make an appearance on Martha Stewart. Stewart’s become an avid Twitterer herself [ @MarthaStewart ], so it’s no surprise that she invited Stone to join the show, though what they would talk about was still anybody’s guess.
