Thus, it’s not too surprising that Scott Adams’ perennial slacker Dilbert conspires with a co-worker to get their boss on Twitter in Sunday’s comic strip.

CNN rightfully warned viewers against driving while texting this week, as studies have found it to be more dangerous than drunk driving. The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart, however, noticed an amusing irony: the awesome new CNN iPhone app includes a feature that lets you check traffic reports on your phone while in the car.

The iPhone has been a huge success for Apple as consumer continue to shell out for the phone and download a plethora of mobile applications . If anything, the only thing holding back iPhone sales are carrier exclusivity deals. Both Vodafone and Orange announced this week that they will be carrying the iPhone in the UK (Orange later this year, Vodafone sometime next year), continuing Apple’s 2009 trend of more carrier-agnostic distribution.

Most Gmail users are familiar with Google Labs , a nifty set of experimental features which aren’t quite ready to be rolled out to all users, but are good enough for a select subset of users who like to try out new things. According to Cnet’s Natali DelConte, Twitter is planning a similar feature for the near future.
