While it might not always be a good idea to connect with your boss on social networks , one advantage of following them on Twitter: it could clue you in to when they’re out of the office. Thus, it’s not too surprising that Scott Adams’ perennial slacker Dilbert conspires with a co-worker to get their boss on Twitter in Sunday’s comic strip.

The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart, however, noticed an amusing irony: the awesome new CNN iPhone app includes a feature that lets you check traffic reports on your phone while in the car.

The iPhone has been a huge success for Apple as consumer continue to shell out for the phone and download a plethora of mobile applications . If anything, the only thing holding back iPhone sales are carrier exclusivity deals. Both Vodafone and Orange announced this week that they will be carrying the iPhone in the UK (Orange later this year, Vodafone sometime next year), continuing Apple’s 2009 trend of more carrier-agnostic distribution.
